Excuse me if this has ever been posted before. Interesting analysis and observations of Bill's playing by Tom Semioli. I don't remember the exact post or thread where this came from on this forum, but there was a recent discussion of other Stones members like Keith (and/or other session players) who played bass on various Stones studio tracks over the years, and this article touches on that (vs Bill's style and technique) but primarily pays tribute to Bill's contribution to the Stones.
