Well, as a follow up to ER, it was a welcome relief for me. I think that SMU is great, so is Slave, Little T&A, Hang Fire works, as does Neighbors, and Black Limo.
Side Two's got Waiting on a Friend, Worried About You, and Heaven, etc. To my ears that's damn good, while not up there in the same league as SG, EOMS, SF, BB, or LIB. It's definitely in the high end of the 2nd tier of Stones albums . . . again, particularly after ER, an album that was a letdown after SG. So, it's contextual, for sure, but it still holds up with the songs I've listed above, at least in my mind.
