There are some singers that lift themselves up where they belong.
A couple of examples:
Paul Rodgers, Free, in "Wishing Well" from 1973.

Havent heard him since, I s'pose just that song makes it well

Ooool´ Janis may be rather noisy to listen to in the end,
but when she shrieks out Little Girl Blue & Summertime, I´m there.
Cu Cu aint to bad either (here I have more to compare with).

Hi Reverend, I just listened to "She Knows". That guy can sing, even though I don't usually like old standard type songs redone in contemporary fashion. Is that Garth doing all the instrumentation in the back you think?
