well, the 'tricky' thing is that the Stones are (or at are least perceived by most fans as) a party band.

Yep, fans wanna normally go to a Rock Show - the challenge now is not to make it a funeral service. Paint It Black, black tongue logo and all band members completely dressed in black could be a bit too much at once.

While I like the design and visual of the black tongue, not sure it's a fitting or appropriate "tribute" to Charlie...seems a bit too bleak and somber as the official tongue of the tour.

Nate

Widely known for it's lack of journalistic integrity, although it also seems to be a reliable outlet for the Stones and others to leak info to that they want to get out.

Perhaps I'm misreading it though.

Its a paper owned by the Murdochs, journalistic integrity? Not even a little bit. Nuff said.

The Sun is the biggest-selling paper in the U.K. for a reason. I used to read it as a teenager, but outgrew it, obviously. I'd read it's football coverage if passed a copy, however. It's a harmless read. The 'red tops' have far more integrity than the likes of the Daily Mail.

I am just wondering why The Sun deleted that "black tongue" story from their website. They didn't update it or anything - it's simply gone.

Many other media have, of course, picked up on the story by now.

Apologies is this has been covered extensively. I did a search for refunds but didn't find anything.
I just recently decided I'm not going to be able to make any of the rescheduled dates and messaged Ticketmaster for refunds on the four sets of Lucky Dips that I bought a long time ago and then said no, the time has passed and can't be refunded.
Is that possible on rescheduled shows?
Does anyone know how I can get a refund from these criminals?
Thanks

ChrisL, I'm afraid the refund deadline date has passed.

It was August 21 and only for the rescheduled shows (and only if you had bought your tickets before they announced the new dates on July 22)

Thanks Topi. Oh well. By Aug. 21 I was still hoping to make some of the shows (I didn't know about the deadline, or any deadline). I guess if tickets were selling like before the pandemic they would refund because they could resell.

They (Ticketmaster) sent e-mails about the refund deadline when they announced the rescheduled dates. I got my e-mail on July 22.

This is what they e-mailed me re: Nashville:

Quote

YOUR NEW EVENT DATE IS:
October 9, 2021 @ 7:30 PM
Nissan Stadium
We understand that you might not be able to make it, but have worked with the Event Organizer to make sure you have an option.

You have through August 21, 2021 to choose a refund.

Once you've selected the option of a refund, it's final and cannot be changed.

Someone got refund to your credit card of cancelled show ?
Cancelled show San Diego, Vancouver, Buffalo, Louisville and Cleveland should be refunded without any action.

I had Cleveland but not yet.

I also had rescheduled Pittsburgh and sent refund request on August 21, deadline day.
Strangely today I could confirm this Pittsburg tix fee refund to my credit card account.

BUT CLEVELAND YET.

I got my Vancouver refunds pretty quickly, and obviously San Diego last year.

I've heard people have had issues with Cleveland.

Saw today that Detroit took 4 Lower Level sections of tickets off the map, meaning marked as no tickets available (wasn't a ton left but doubt they actually sold either as they were too many left to have sold overnight) in Lower Level 109 and 110, along with 124 and 125.

They also flexed the top several rows in the Lower Level sections closest to the stage from $346 a ticket before fees to $246 a ticket before fees.

So if a second LA show is added why can’t Vancouver be put in end? Can someone tell me if this could be possible.

guessing because getting into Canada from the US via ground transport is difficult and who knows if the border could close again. I am also guessing the inability of the US to let Canadians in is what killed a Buffalo show. for most big events in Buffalo, from NFL football, NHL hockey to concerts, Canadians make up a significant portion of the crowd.

We have sect. 134 tix for Sunday 17th LA show, and all and now it's in the "Grey" square. The new LA show tickets went on sale and 134/109 sections are not even available. Are they moving the stage forward??? Can I even exchange our 5 seats???

Here in New Zealand we cannot get to the tour this year for the first time since 2013. If we did manage to get a flight out to US we wouldn't be able to get back into the country. We're locked down like fort knox here.
We would love to follow the tour remotely if we can though. I'm pretty sure periscope is finished now, so does anyone know any other app or way to be able to stream the live shows?
For those who are going, stay safe and have fun!

Looking at seating maps of the 14th and 17th side by side, looks like a bunch of side sections other than 134/109 for the 14th have been shaved off...512, 513, 541, 542, etc., etc., etc.
Also in the back of stadium for the 14th, upper/middle sections 235 and 230 are greyed out, whereas for the 17th there are many available as resale tix...
Maybe depending on demand for the 14th (which there seems to be very little of), they will eventually open those sections up? Seems unlikely that will ever happen.
Considering the very low demand and everything that's still available in most sections for the 14th, maybe they can move the crowd and the show itself in to the neighboring Forum - would love to see the Stones there again...

I was saying that right after it got dropped.

The finality of the announcement from BC Place "worked along side the tour to exhaust all possibilities" seemed to make it clear that there wasn't an option to "wait and see" about the end of tour. Probably covid/insurance related in terms of having cities/countries all set I would imagine.

Would love to see that change though.

Current rules in BC would mean only 50% capacity of the event would be allowed.

Don't think that would work well in the Stones business model.
