Good for you Ronnie! You could be a positive role model for others struggling with addictions.

Good on him.. he is already an inspiration with his sobriety to many.
Helping more people, while spreading his message to a wider audience will ultimately help him as much as it helps others. Bravo!

I am proud to announce that I am now an ambassador for @turnup4recovery
Their mission is a subject very close to my heart and I am so honoured to become an ambassador for this brilliant organisation. 1/2

@turnup4recovery
bring people together through music to support recovery for addicts, and their friends and family. To become a part of that is my way of giving back, as I am so grateful for all the care and support I've received along the way, in my recovery. 2/2

I find it's the reverse, all this celebrity rehab BS, do it your way, don't be looking at two faced millionaires for inspiration, doesn't help, your higher power comes from within.

Recovery's a big tent Rocktil, musicians supporting other musicians with sobriety and recovery is inarguably a good thing.
Sounds like your higher power is "within" your @#$%&, or is one.

Good on Ronnie. Someone's own way might include looking elsewhere for inspiration. If that's what it takes and helps one person, then great. Different strokes for different folks. Don't knock it.

Have i just bumped into the village idiot MrDDD

There is a lot of criticism about rehab retreats, it's not just my experience.

Ronnie says it himself here, this is what i mean by two faced.
