If the rumours were correct and Rory was sounded out for the Stones would it have worked Gallagher was an awesome performer who always seems to get forgotten these days when lists of great guitarists are printed.

Rory is one of the greatest guitar heros all time, no doubt. But as a Stone, I don't know whether he would have fit to the band or not ...

Ian Stewart was the one who pushed for Rory Gallagher to join the band,he must have seen some of the necessary ingredients. Another great "What if". Thanks.
