Final song

Ok, I'm bored.........

It's the last Stones show ever..........it's time for the last song.
My pick would be Midnight Rambler, the song is everything the Stones stands for (playing live). What's yours? (please don't say 'the last time'..........)

Gazza, can you put down the lyrics of that song?!

Re: Final song

Last Stones show ever should be a theatre show - last song (very unuasually) performed by Keith: All about you - "...If the show must go on, let it go on without you....." Honestly I don`t want to think about that further more, it gets me sentimental......Let`s be happy they`re still rockin`on

The final song will not be planned...it will only be recognized as the final song in hindsight.

Muddy Waters' Rollin Stone or Come On

It should make a full circle.

Had It With You

Q: Do you feel you've disappointed your fans?
KR: Not nearly as much as they've disappointed us.

In the same spirit - I hope there never will be an announced last show, with all the implied ultimately sentimental aspects of such an occation. I'd simply prefer that is over when it is (all) over. I hope this will apply even on the part of the band. Consequently, I for one find it fruitless and unnecessary to engage in such speculations.- I am much more interested in all that might possibly happen before that distant moment in the future!

It will probably be on a $350 satelite pay-per-view broadcast. :-)

ThereĀ“s only one real last song I would want to hear as an encore
(if it was the last show for me): JUMPING JACK FLASH.

The one and only encore!

The last song of the "last concert - ever!" was Satisfaction in Honolulu in 1966.

My pick - Slipping Away.

The most poignant last concert song would probably be -

Time Wait's for No One ( & it Won't Wait for Me)
