I'm glad, I've always enjoyed rw, i'm amazed how healthy and young he looks at the moment, always enjoyed his solo albums, would like to get hold of breathe on me from now look, it's better than the more recent version, i think the wood/ taylor ongoing debate reminds me of jarndyce v. jarndyce from dickens bleak house! the rs do just change, as they get older, and you can't hold people back, what i love is that the rs now, on abb, sound like they are fighting for their lives, metaphorically, like they know they have to play loud, hard and sing like they mean it, even if it doesn't really rhyme, rock n'roll is never meant to be that serious, but it should be alive, never meant to be a business, but everyone wants to be famous, and i think for 4 men who have spent large amounts of time trying to work on something, be competitive, and be exciting that they are doing better than i thought, hugely better, in fact abb is a revealation and somewhere down the line rw is very much a part of all that. a band, not unlike a football team are meant to be together, and we their fans find it hard when they don't live up to what we hope of them!
RW, everyone says is a nice bloke, which is amazing, considering the life you have to lead, but i think, now at the youthful 41 i now am, that in the long run, much as i truly do want to, it really is better not meet your heroes for long!
