did anyone gain access to pheonix via fanclub?

remember when the fanclub sent out a email telling you to submit a email to possibly get free ticket to club gig? I have yet to hear of anyone gaining access this way. was it all hype? OT: just got email for rarities cd combo with t-shirt for $44 from fanclub. what a bargain (sarcasm). is anyone buying this stuff from the fanclub solicitations?
