In the refrain there's a tambourine and an accoustic guitar playing in a great
rythm.

Have you heard keth's backing vocals on oh no not you again and on this pplace is empty? his voice seems 30 years younger

Keith's guitar fills in Sweet Neocon are pretty cool, first few times you hear the song they don't stand out as much because you are listening to the lyrics. They have a sort of eary but cool sound.

Keith's solo on ONNYA should make all the people who say he can't play shut up I think. That's a cute detail.

I like "This Place is Empty" above all others. It is a very simple song, but in my opinion one of the greatest songs in Rock history. It is similar to "Beast of Burden" in its intensity. ...ingenious ...

And what about Mick screaming "Oh ya!" in the background of "Back Of My Hand"?!

I like the solo but it's exactly the same as all his Chuck Berry type solo's he plays on songs like Neighbours (live of course) and dozens more. So it's nothing new or special IMO.

If you crank the outro to rough justice, really loud, you can just hear the band 'end' the song, you can hear charlies drums, the song actually ends just as you hear the last of it as they have faded out during mixing.

I love the backing vox on this place is empty, micks soft vocal parts with keith doing the high bit, as well as the lead he sings."It's funny how things gooooooooo around"... !! You can just imagine keith in the studio, on tiptoes raising his shoulders and his arms stretched out as he sings the high "go" !!!

Driving too Fast has a great verse riff, almost JJF material but the mix kills it for me--drums are on top of guitar and boring bass line. Like most of the album, too "bright", sort of upside down production. I want the guitars up front--like Rough Justice--not drums and vocals.
