Why the hell would you ask for a refund for your Lucky Dip tix?
It's a cheap ticket and you can hold them while you are waiting for new Tournews to come in the next months.. If you can't go by then, you can still sell them.

Exactly. But I also understand that money is tight for a lot of people. Let's say you were going to "dip your way" the whole tour. That's, what, 14-15 pairs? Totals to about a 1000 dollars. Of course, that's an extreme example.

In any case, the only reason we are seeing these "new Dips" is that Ticketmaster has no choice but to put them back into the sale. It's not like the tickets were magically going to disappear.

I gave my Lucky Dips back for Atlanta and I'm sure someone here bought those in the last couple of days. Whoever you are it was my pleasure.

I doubt if I want to go to a show in Atlanta if it is ever rescheduled I will have a problem finding Lucky Dip or other cheap seats.

So, instead I took a refund instead of letting Ticketmaster keep it and my credit card charging interest on it for a year.

That is "why the hell" I would ask for a refund. Not as rich as most here.

The LD link for SD now brings u to a general on sale link to all seats throughout the stadium. But not to LDs. Don't know what's going on.

It seems to behave the same way as the Minnesota link does.

Maybe something's in the works of rescheduling?

Yeah, could well be, but then again all other ticket types are on sale all the time. My guess is we have just run out of Lucky Dips again, for the moment.

What’s the point in rescheduling until they know when a vaccine is available.
Would you go out on the road for a tour if you were heading towards 80 years of age without a vaccine?

I wouldn't. But the Who rescheduled. I'm not saying it's the best decision.

Is there a link to LD Tampa?

I missed the initial sale and would like to keep checking for returns.

If anyone is refunding please let me know ([email protected])

Mil Gracias!

The LD link with Tampa works just like every other link. You have to go to the Ticketmaster Tampa event page and add:

?did=lucky

to the address of that page, right at the end.

So the Tampa link is [www.ticketmaster.com]

Currently all LD links direct to regular tickets, however.

Indeed. Anyone should understand that.

Can you "social distance" in the pit?

depends on the show and how crowded the pit is. I've been to some that don't seem too crowded toward the back but others where the whole pit is pretty packed.

Assuming it's a rhetorical question, because obv not.
Never been in a pit where I've had six feet empty on all sides.
Not when the show is underway, not even in the back.

If and when shows resume, I think we've seen the last of the pit, unfortunately.
At least until there's a vaccine.

There is no hidden link. The links are the same as they have been all along.

I saw several people on Shidoobee saying they had scored Tampa LDs.

Austin Lucky Dip link is live as well:

thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I don't see any tickets for sale ...including LD's.

Re: Lucky Dip Tickets 2020

There weren't that many pairs available.

I helped someone get a pair at around 10:50 AM EST. Ticketmaster usually uploads the tickets into the system very early in the morning, and I heard somebody had bought a pair of these Tampa dips as early as 5 AM EST. Looks like my post here was made at 9:34.

Quantities with refunded dips are always limited. A week ago, several Tampa pairs along with some Austin pairs were available. Any the other shows have not had more LDs show up since late April, to my knowledge.

strange that the above link would take you to the TM site but you could not buy any tickets for Tampa. But if I go directly to TM I can buy tickets but no LD.

Re: Lucky Dip Tickets 2020
Posted by: Topi ()
Date: June 30, 2020 19:13

Actually, there's nothing strange about it, Lucky Dips were always a different, dedicated link on Ticketmaster.

See the difference when you look at the addresses of the regular Tampa tickets and that Lucky Dip link?

It's that little string at the end:

Quote

?did=lucky

That's what you need to add at the end of each show URL to get the Lucky Dip link.

However, if no LDs are available, different venue links will behave a little differently. Some, like Tampa, will show a black screen saying the show is "postponed", yet others will give you a pop-up about Platinum tickets or other "special offers" - and eventually lead you to all tickets.

Thanks for the heads up Topi. I will try back early in the morning. Is the best way to check the above link? I don't imagine the stones app has anything.

chrism13, I now see you posted about Tampa Dips back in April. As I said, Tampa has been available twice during the past two weeks or so now, so I suggest you check back on that same link every morning.

(I checked my previous posts and before this morning, the previous time Tampa dips were available was June 18, so that's some two weeks ago.)
