I will be going to shows in San Francisco. Rolling Stones can play here instead on San Diego.

Imagine being stuck with a great ticket in the non-vaccine sections....lol...jk....
If there is a rescheduled tour, have a feeling the new L.A. stadium will get the nod to replace San Diego - at least that's a hope...and only if there's vaccinated sections...
I wouldn't be surprised if they put the new stadium in Vegas on the tour if/when it happens.

The NFL is "...hoping for a return to normalcy this fall".
That's the hope anyways, with hoping being the key word here, and we all can hope.
As for Dave Matthews - mostly smallish outdoor amphitheaters, followed by some small indoor theaters late in the Fall, but the verdict is still out whether the early dates will all be doable.
Andre Bocelli will play in larger arenas which will begin in October - might be a better chance of those happening, depending on the as yet unknown restrictions/regulations, and other unknown variables of the pandemic.

Still wondering how proof of vaccination/ negative test results will be handled from one state to the next, city to city, venue to venue.
Here in Southern California at the small Canyon Clubs , they're open and rolling again, but with these restrictions: CanyonClubs
Covid Notice
We are open, and operating with strict observance to the mandates and guidelines issued by the State of California and local government agencies. All attendees must provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test from within 72 hours. Again, please understand that in order to stay in business, we have no choice but to comply with these mandates. We thank you for your understanding, and look forward to a return to normalcy in the near future.
The last show I attended was Los Lobos at the Santa Clarita Canyon Club back in Dec. 2019. Second vaccine shot on Saturday, which should kick in full effect two weeks from then.
Almost ready to blast off and see a live show again at one of these venues or somewhere similar, but am cautiously hesitant about it all...might stick with outdoor venues first, and see how it all goes.
Still looks mostly like lots of corny tribute bands scheduled, so not anything I'm anxious to go see while risking my health - even prior to pandemic never bothered to see tribute bands.

Yes Buddy Guy - I've seen him quite a few times! One time at the Ventura Theater when he walked out through the crowd, he let my wife strum his strat, and then handed me the pick with a big smile.
Met him at his Blues Club in Chicago where he was holding court at the gift store, and he offered to pose for a pic with me - such a nice guy. The last time I saw him play live several years ago he was
clearly getting a bit up their age wise which has affected his performance and guitar playing, but it was still a fun night out. I see he's playing near me on several dates in September
including the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, and a couple of Canyon Clubs. That's a long wait, but should definitely be safe and sane by then...especially with proof of vaccine.

Might have to join you as that's an excellent venue.
And yes, when I re-bought the Roger Waters tix a couple weeks ago for L.A. #1 and Vegas, there was the thrill of the chase...scouting out the map...comparing prices and seat locations, etc., etc., etc...
It did take some time to get used to navigating the AXS page again as it's been well over a year - I used to be able to do it all blindfolded with both arms tied around my back!

Turns out I know a few people up here who are thinking about attending the Oxnard Performing Arts Center show the night before the Saban show.
And considering I live just a few miles from there vs. driving 60 miles down to the Saban in L.A. w/all the hellish traffic, seems an easy choice to keep it closer to home if I decide to go.
Still on the fence about it all though. Looking at tix right now on Ticketmaster, appears that 90% or more of tix are still available, and I don't think that will change too much any time soon.

We are debating on doing two and would be that one as well. The same team that did the Stones Santa Clara recordings planning on this one. If you know the Oxnard venue might have a few questions.

Roger Waters just announced the new dates for his US tour. The tour is set to begin July of 2022 and end October of 2022.
Got Ticketmaster notification that he's rescheduled Vancouver for Sept 15 2022, I got a ticket refund last year already.
I kept my tickets for Tacoma (9/17/22). I got nice ones for realistic money.
Mine were fairly inexpensive, couple rows up in the upper balcony, didn't want to spend too much since I saw him in late 2017. Assuming the stage/video screens are similar to last time, I thought it would be better to be higher up so I can take pics of the screen which stretches the whole length of the floor.
He is going to play in the round & the talk is it's going to be some sort of stunning presentation. He's going to be 79 by the time the tour happens & is still breaking new ground with his show. He's saying it's his first farewell tour. He's honery enough (God bless him) that he'll keep going for awhile. Seems to be in reasonably good health.

Seen him 5 times, horny yes, does he phone in his shows? No way you certainly sound and visually get your money's worth.
Hope to see him again. I got all my concert tickets refunded last year. Will take a wait and see for a while.

I am ready to tour any time, but I don't think the world is ready for any major tours until most people are vaccinated. It will take a while.
May be smaller crowds with a few hundred people are ok, but a large tour with 50,000 people x 15 shows? Hard to imagine during an active pandemic.
BV, sad but I've got to agree. In lots of the US vaccines doses are starting to pile up. Numbers of people with two shot in the 30-35% range, long way from 70-80% crowd immunity.
No large shows for me in 2021. Make a believer out of me first.
I want to see my 400th show and live to tell.
Mike
is that 400 Stones shows or 400 in general?
