McCartney quoted Keith as saying to him "you know what the difference between your band and ours is".."you had four frontmen, we only had one"..
this is in the interview with McCartney in the current Rolling Stone.
also another difference: their four frontmen never could really get along, and didnt want to bother to tour...
but the Stones thrive on it! another important difference: the Stones are a band, the Beatles were a band, but split into 3 singer/songwriters with backing musicians...

paul is ...... a goof!!! the only hope for him is if he and Ringo team up w/ Roger Daltry and Pete Townsend and form a band called the Whotles....

Isn't it bizarre that the Stones have outlived the Who and the Beatles? I'm sure everyone thought the Stones were all gonna end up dead way before everyone else due to their reputation.

Actually, Paul on Bass with Townsend & Daltry might be interesting! Stick with Ringo Jr. on drums, though.
