A friend sitting in Sec222A at Philly saw Blondie playing behind the stage on Shattered. Anyone else see him?

For the first three songs, Lisa, Bernard and Blondie are not on stage. But they still sing and play.

printed setlists show where the backup players are and what they're playing. Blondie plays or sings on everything - including the b-stage numbers.

Thanks for the information, because I have been trying to determine that the back up singers must be on or behind the main stage singing while the Stones are on the B stage doing Get Off My Cloud.

Hmm. Blondie plays? Sounds like a new threeway with Mick as the evil, Keith the ugly and Blondie the good.

Yes, Blondie has been playing guitar on some songs since the Licks tour.

To me it seems more like Mick as the evil and Keith and Blondie both as the ugly

As I listened to the Charlottesville recording I thought that Blondie adds some nice accoustic guitar to some songs...

When Shattered or She's So Cold are played on the b-stage, Blondie plays guitar on the main stage.
Bernard sings from the main stage when Rough Justice or ONNYA is played on the b-stage.

They wouldn't let Blondie play guitar behind the stage - his playing behind stage has probably been some testing or so......

When any of the back-up players play - they are on-stage, everything else would be ridiculous..... and that I don't believe with the band......

bstage? you sure? i always thought chuck did the backing vocals. never sounded like bernard anyways. and on ONNYA, what exactly does bernard/blondie/etc do? all i hear is two guitars, bass, drums, mick and thankfully a low mix of piano.

Come on guys, listen to the backing vocals from Get Off My Cloud from this tour or the No Security tour. This song was always performed on the b-stage, and you can easily tell the female voice(s) on the echo part of "HEY (hey),YOU (you), get off of my cloud" It is Lisa and Leah Wood (sometimes) on No Security, and Lisa and Bernard on the current tour. The backup singers are on or behind the main stage.

How would ya all feel about Blondie playing the famous JJF-riff. Keith had severe problems with it during the intro in Philly so why not let Blondie give it a whirl.

Blondie does play guitar on JJF on stage.

How the hell did Blondie get in the Stones picture anyway? I'm probably going to get ripped apart....but I can't stand the guy.

I've always thought that Blondie lost it after The Tide Is High, but that's just my own personal.

On the first DVD of "Four Flicks" during "Beast Of Burden" you can see Blondie Chaplin playing acoustic guitar e.g., and you can hear him, but he was cut out on the same song on "Live Licks", who is only a shortened version of the Licks version. I guess that there is no mystery, because you can see him playing on many songs on "Four Flicks". I like to hear his acoustic guitar in the backround.

"is only a shortened version of the Licks version" is wrong; "of the Flicks version" is right of course

I'd like to see Blondie taking over Bass duties from Daryl--Blondie's Bass playing on "Low Down" from BtoB was my fave for bass on any post Bill track.

He'd fit in better anyway--he's more grizzled looking. Daryl looks like a Gym manager or something--he doesn't look very RnR & doesn't sound very RnR either.
