Going with maxim - to be underplayed it has to have been played. Here are a few of my choices.

Play With Fire - wheeled out a few times and a great song - could be expanded upon

Moonlight Mile - played on the No Security tour.

Ventilator Blues - they often reahearse this why don't they play it?

Silver Train - one of my favs

Dance Little Sister - great groove but only played a few times in late 70s

Let Me Go - good rocker it would fit nicely into a charged part of their set

One Hit To The Body - One of the later-day songs they should play more.

Love is Strong - a later song they should play more.

Your mind is quite safe from being blown.

I'm amazed the most underplayed song ever is only mentioned once:

LET IT LOOSE

Not even once played ever.

Some other suggestions:

She Smiled Sweetly
I Got the Blues
Jiving Sister Fanny
Casino Boogie
If You Need Me
The Under Assistent West Coast Promotion Man
Another Land
Something Happened to me Yesterday
Sweet Black Angle
Sitting on a Fence
Dear Doctor
Dancing with Mr Dee
Short and Curlies
Slave

Beast of Burden is a great song, but it’s been played 241 times; 10 times since 2012. Underplayed, perhaps, but not criminally underplayed.
Sway has only been played 25 times; 4 since 2012.

Route 66 is also up there, given it’s history.
Since 1976, it was played only once in 1986 and once in 2012.

Cannot answer since I am unsure of which songs are "great." I'm pretty sure of which songs I like but that's about as far as my expertise goes.

The board has had threads on warhorses, and threads on songs we wish would be played more. I’m not asking here for songs that would just be fun, like “We Love You,” or “She Smiled Sweetly.” And I’m not asking for rotation songs that get played occasionally, or good songs like “Love Is Strong” that should come out more often.

What one undeniably great Rolling Stones song do you thing has been criminally underplayed?

My answer is “No Expectations.” The Setlist site says it’s only been played 20 times, and twice in the past 16;years.

Your answer?

As you even ask for it: Who are you to tell me what are not undeniably great Rolling Stones songs? By naming those songs!

Moonlight Mile was played quite a few times on the Zip Code Tour + at The Fonda, of course.
