Thanks as always bye bye johnny for posting all the great pics and the OC Register review.
The Rose Bowl is a beauty, though perhaps not for the timid, feeble, or the meek.
That said, I saw people older than the Stones happily making their way all around the stadium - a historical landmark that has stood the test of time.
Currently at Burbank Airport relaxing prior to a short flight to Phoenix - made it here early with only a few hours sleep to beat the nightmare L.A. traffic...no rest for the weary...three shows down, one to go.

Thanks roller99!
Not being able to be there myself (you know why), it almost felt I was there while watching your recordings (on my big iMac screen)! You were located at a spot that I have enjoyed over the passed decade or so in all kind of locations around the world, so it really felt great! THANKS!

I love this song. This and Ruby Tuesday should replace on of their long war horses

Just noticed some new Mars/Nasa/Stones themed merch for the Rose Bowl show - including nice litho - I want it!!!
More here: Stones/Nasa/Mars/Rose Bowl
I guess this is to fill the void of no NFL shirt.

I got home in the wee hours of the morning. It took awhile to get out of the stadium and walk to the car but I had found free parking near a freeway on-ramp so the post-concert traffic slog was minimal. Anyway, great show last night. Street Fighting Man was a strong opener, nice to hear it again. I was really happy, for completely selfish reasons, to get She’s A Rainbow for the song vote. I really like the song and hearing something I’ve never heard them play before is a huge plus for me. The B-stage songs were great choices. Nice to see Mick and Keith singing at the same mic, after seeing them almost avoid each other a few years ago. Sasha’s vocal solo on Gimme Shelter seemed almost muted in the mix. Did anyone else observe that or was it just my location (stage right, upper level)? That was the only problem I had with the sound the whole night. Altogether, it was a really fun show and they seemed to be having a good time. I do wish they would completely re-do the set list but I understand why they probably won’t at this point. They’re playing tried-and-true classics really well and as long as they keep coming back to Southern California, I’ll continue to go see them.

Did anyone else who was in the pit last night have issues actually finding the wristbands?

Did anyone else who was in the pit last night have issues actually finding the wristbands? Or finding their car after the show? Once we got into the stadium, we walked around and around looking for the pit wristband "tent". Had we not been escorted by one of the "people" working there, we would never have seen it. It wasn't a tent, it was one person, standing inconspicuously near a gate, giving wristbands to ticket holders. The show was great, but the Rose Bowl sucks. I don't understand this nostalgic love for this place that they have here, it's a garbage stadium and should be torn down. Hopefully the next time The Stones play in L.A. and have to have a stadium, they will play at the new NFL venue being built. No concessions on the floor, no bathrooms on the floor, just long, uphill tunnels. Sorry for the rant, but I don't want to have to walk back up through the tunnels, to get to the outside "bazaar" area just to get a drink.

Thanks roller99 for not just following Mick but also filming Keith, Ronnie and Charlie. Hate it when videos only show Mick the whole time as if he was the only band member. You did a great job on finding the right balance with all band members.
