When is the release of the 2020 tour be planned? After last year I guess we have to walt till 8 weeks (or something like that) before the opening night.

If they want to do the two new NFL stadiums the tour would need to go thru at least the first week of August. For 16 shows about 4 days apart and a one week mid break it would probably start about June 1. I agree the official announcement would not he way early, so maybe mid to late March. Various rumors should get better by late Jan. If we’re lucky BV will have a good idea by February sometime and if he is comfortable with releasing the info we should have a decent idea of the tour by mid to late February. Just my 0.02.

Maybe because... it will be its 4th year in 2020 and... it's a long ways off?

They announced and sold tickets last year in November for a spring tour. So maybe the announcement is not too far off for the summer tour, if that's when it will be.

What has happened to Makustone? Does anyone know how the 2019 tour turned out for him?

This is not about the Rolling Stones.
A Dutch band will perform "Sticky Fingers" live in that theather.

It will be fun, but no Rolling Stones.

Because it is holiday time now, and soon a new year. No need to stress about tour details until January.

Announced Nov late for April late start...5 months.
If June, we are still a ways off using the same timeframe

Any reason why a late Autumn US tour couldn't be considered.
Time then to complete the album?!
Near enough to Christmas time to boost album sales.
Just a thought though: US Presidential Election in November .....would that be a problem?

BV strongly hinted for a January announcement in an earlier post.

On the 7th day God created The Rolling Stones

I’ll see the show in Steenwijk February 8th. And I think it’s known Jan Akkerman doesn’t like Keith, at least as a guitar player..... spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I'm betting we'll see a Jan. announcement.
Main reason in addition to bv's earlier post is the rumors re Jazz Fest...
JF has announced another "extra day" for 2020 already, and they make their line-up announcement in early January.
Stones like to follow through on commitments, and that makes playing JF seem likely to me.

If they do JazzFest in May that keeps them out of the new football stadiums in Las Vegas and Los Angeles in August unless they are considering multiple legs. Personally, I would be surprised if they did New Orleans two years in a row unless they think JazzFest would be a totally different audience. Lucky New Orleans if they do get it.

Agree with the notion of playing NO two years in a row being a bit much, but this one being part of JF, selling day tickets for the day they play and filling seats won't be an issue. Not sure how solid the rumors are of them potentially playing the new NFL stadiums... I think the time frame will be late April - late June, with the rumored Louisville date being near the end of the tour, similar to the schedule that had to be postponed last year.

New Crue shows on-sale starting January 10th.

No info on Bieber's tour that I could find, stadiums in the bigger markets for him.

Figure The Stones' on-sales will avoid these two, just to avoid the logjam on TM.

And Thanx to BV for the word of patience until next month!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Holidays of any sort, rest up for the Summer!spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Everything is quiet on the AC/DC front too. One would assume that would be a stadium tour too. So quite possibly big 2020 tour news still yet to come. Stones in back to back Summers!

I think they(Keith esp) rather enjoyed playing in warmer weather. I have a feeling dates will be closer to the actual 2019 run, not the postponed ones.

Maybe they hit the JF before a quick SA/Mex ditty and return stateside in June/Aug for the US/Can leg.Would put them in line to do Aliegent Vegas on Aug 5th.
Would they play on their own stage at a JF appearance, or use JF's stump?
