Rainbow will get this, I believe.
Being featured in ads and a recent live release, it will get votes from young and old.

Great live song imo, especially with the screens and lighting on this tour.
A highlight of the concert for me in Cardiff.

They didn't play Rainbow at Cardiff...

She's co cold was great in 2017 (although it used to be one of my least favorite choice in the song vote back then (if you ever wondered who boo-ed in Arhem when the winner of the song vote was announced – it was me!)

Shattered and She's A Rainbow was played in 2018 and She's So Cold in 2017, but Live With Me was last performed in Lisbon 2014 I think so it's the obvious choice IMO. Also I've never heard Karl Denson play the classic solo on Live With Me.

It was played at one of the Desert Trip shows in 2016.
But I agree with you that it is the obvious choice that deserves to be played.

Not surprising at all given Rainbow's recent popularity in ads and new live releases.
Many younger and older fans would both vote for it.. great live song imo.

Well, even if they had played Live with Me it wouldn't come close to the 1969 GYYO live version, which was perfect. I also love the intro into JJF. It is a defining point in my Stoneshood. I was only 10 or 11 at the time but I went to the movies by myself and saw GS. Back then you could go to the movies by yourself as a kid.

Not even close, but I saw them play it at Desert Trip wkd. 2, and it still kicks ass - it was a major part of the reason why that show better than wkd. 1.

While She's a Rainbow is a fantastic song (studio version), it seemed to plod along durge-like when they played it live losing alot of it's original qualities.
But being that it's in my top 20-25 (or maybe 30-35) favorite Stones tunes, I wouldn't mind seeing it live some day - even if it doesn't come close to the studio version.

This leads to me to a question that is not quite related. Why does it seem that when KR starts a song now with the intro notes are shortened or omitted? This actually started many tours ago. Could be my imagination.

Why can't we have Luxury, Mixed Emotions, or even MLH in a song vote?

It's one of my fave Stones songs and my first Stones single I ever bought. Having said that, I think they race through a bit too quickly most times and ruin the groove. Love to hear a good live version!

The more I think about it, Why not stop this absurd Song Vote charade? There is no accountability, structure or logic in compiling a Song Vote List.

And the pre-tapes Ulahlah they use nowadays for live versions is just silly

What does that mean? That makes ZERO SENSE.

I dont think there is any tape involved - the background singers that are onstage with the Stones are more than capable to sing "Uhlala."
