OT:Buster Poindexter at Cafe Carlyle 12/4

Last Friday I managed to catch Buster Poindexter aka David Johansen at the Cafe Carlyle in NYC.Backed by a small band they played an assortment of blues,jazz and rock.In between songs he proved to be quite the raconteur,telling stories of his life and career.A very entertaining intimate evening.A great reinvention for this former New York folk!

Regarding the Carlyle, check out the movie "Always At The Carlyle". It makes you want to go to NYC and stay there.
