On Live Licks - an otherwise fine album - they edit out my favorite part of Rocks Off, the Sunshine Bores the Daylights Out Of Me lines right after the slow bit. This annoys the crap out of me. Why the bad edit??? It's a great performance of a great song that was simply butchered. If they needed 20 extra seconds to make everything fit, they could've taken it somewhere else! Oh well...

What a shame to leave out that lyric. For the record, the sunshine bores the daylight out of me as well - great line.

they didn't need 20 extra seconds - the disk is nowhere near full.
and it's not an "edit" - it's a butcher-job that can't possibly have been *meant* to be released.
in that moment of the number on 4Flicks, Mick *is* way late coming in, but it's not like they couldn't have patched it with something.
how that ended up on the release is one of those obvious questions interviewers never seem to ask. along with "what's with the recurring BB in the album titles?"

A disgraceful edit! C'mon, even if Mick and/or made a hash of it there must have been a number of performances of the song that could have been used. Ruins the album, IMHO.

I agree Send It, they could have left Keith doing Hoagie off of there and left the best verse of the song in there.

They did ask that, to Keith. I think I have it on tape somewhere here. It's from a Dutch TV show called Twee Vandaag. Keith says he never really thought about it.
