Just read a bit of Stones related trivia via wiki:
"At the age of 14, Peter was playing with a band called The Trubeats followed by a band called The Preachers, produced and managed by Bill Wyman of The Rolling Stones".
This is pretty darn good stuff - might have a change of heart and go see him after all!

Good grief. Joan Baez beat him to it with the "Fare Thee Well" BS. Just what we needed.

Mick and Ronnie seemed to have held onto their hair(?) while Keith's has greyed and is struggling. Be honest - admit it when it's gone. Long grey hair is never a good look IMO.

So maybe cut him some slack in view of the most recent news. I was never a fan, but I feel very bad for him and admire his attitude.

Frampton Comes Alive is such a weird anomaly in music history, from the guitar player in Humble Pie (themselves an extremely average/third rate band) to this massive household name on the back of a double live album album, then back to almost complete obscurity.
I never understood the level of success he achieved and how he got there.

Fourth rate, then.

THere is no reason to be crabbed about Baez, Frampton or any other classic era artist/group going out on tour. Most play small venues now, don't cost a thousand dollars and turn out to be a lot of fun...
