Brian Jones -- session man ?

I know that Brian did a one-off with the Beatles ( You Know my Name ) and attempted to record with Hendrix ( All Along the Watchtower ), but did he ever do any other session work outside the Stones ? When he recorded the soundtrack to A Degree of Murder he used a lot of other musicians, and was wondering if he ever repaid the favor ?

This is a list of 45s from the sixties that various Stones had some involvement with.

Thank you Deltics; impressive list! The Stones in the 60's worked a lot because beside those great side projects they had to work for their band which was not light work when the band was touring, recording, promoting. Keith always mentions how busy they were in the early days and I believe him. The only way to get good at one does is to do it often for a long time; there is no way around it; @#$%& commitment to the craft, son!

Rockand roll,
Mops

Yes. But that’s hardly a “session job” chanting a chours...
Anyway, Brian plays the saxophone on The Beatles’ “You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)”.

I didn't know Charles Dickens sang a Jagger/Richards song.
He wasn't too shabby with words himself.

Brian can be heard in the opening chords of All Along the watchtower.

”Hendrix's friend and Rolling Stones multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones played the various percussion instruments on the track. "That’s him playing the thwack you hear at the end of each bar in the intro, on an instrument called a vibraslap." [20] Jones originally recorded a piano part that was later mixed out in place of the percussion instruments.”

Eddie Kramer say's it isn't Brian.

Reading the above..." and within about 3 minutes he passed out".
Which happened in July 1969 presumably.
Only in a swimming pool and not a studio.
