Someone said in this forum that Mick Taylor was leaving the Stones because of the shortening of his solo on "Time Waits for No One" Is there any source-tape on any boot that contains the complete solo?

May I repeat that question? It is rumored that Mick Taylor was leaving the Stones after shortening his solo on "Time Waits for No One". Does anyone know if there is any studio boot which contains other versions of TWFNO? Thanks, RJ.

This was discussed some time before.
If I can remembre well, no bootleg and not true that MT quitted because the solo was cut short (I would have cut it before anyway)

Mick Taylor left because he couldn't take the lifestyle and was also getting tired of having his input uncredited, as a whole, just not over one song. He was the best guitarist the Stones ever had, in my not so humble opinion.

Hey, Taylor had decided to quit before this song was recorded.

Have you heard the acoustic version from a Dutch Radio station a few months
back (Taylor & a friend of his on vocals) nice version!!!
