OT Audio Interface?

Hey Guys, I have not done too much home recording using Tools/ Cakewalk etc. It's usually someone else turning the knobs. Honestly I never had the patience to get past that damn learning curve, that is unavoidable.
So if I;m going to use a PC or Mac, what kind of interface do you suggest? Like a 2 mic set.

I use a simple 2 mic M-Audio. Works nicely.

Komplete Audio 6 from Native Instruments is a very good interface. Lots of connectivity, reliable and won't bust the bank.

I use a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 (2 Mics, 4 phono inputs) with Bandlab Cakewalk (previous Cakewalk Sonar)
