Chas Hodges has sadly died. Loved Chas n Dave saw them support Clapton back in 1981.

Really sad about this; finally got to see them at Albert Hall in April, just in time it now turns out. A genuine delight.

Ah, no. This is sad. He also had a great career pre-fame. He and Ritchie Blackmore were all over those great Joe Meek recordings.

RIP Chas........not a fan of Chas & Dave, but Chas turned up on Jerry Lee Lewis' London Sessions, duetting with the Killer on a great Bad Moon Rising cover.
