Bon Jovi first band to play Wembley Stadium

I'm a big B J fan (he he) and am sort of pleased Bonjovi are opening wembley (musically) because they closed the old one but sort of dissapointed because i think it should be a british act like the stones. What does everyone else think about this?

It's still not clear what happens in the week before the Bon Jovi concert. Maybe the will play...Or did I miss anything?

I care less about who plays it first and more about who plays it more often.
If BJ's history in five years or only playing the Casino circuit and the Stones go back to play the ten year annivesary of the New Wembley, I'll be happy with that. I just won't be able to afford the downpayment on a ticket.

what the @#$%&???
an american band opening wembley? well, even if they copied the stones wherever they could during the 90s (i think they also did choose 'not fade away' as the opener for their shows) this would be quite dissappointing...
