Of course Mick is perfectly capable of using a good introduction joke at more than one show in a lifetime.

Why not? Ronnie was in or out of rehab consistantly for a number of years. It wasn't exactly a secret. Hence the joke. I'm sure Ronnie didn't mind.

MSG, Bigger Bang, don't recall the date. Some thought he said "We Have Wood".

The "Woods" was a typo, apologies.

Sorry. Indeed, bleedingman, I found it in the archive here on iorr..
"Intros - and on guitar Ron "Rehab" Wood, Mick and Ronnie
arm and arm smiling widely, Ronnie got a chuckle out of that one.
"
MSG Sept. 13, 2005

But still, I don´t like it.

Even worse was the time Mick snatched Ronnie's banana. Mick seemed ticked off. Awkward.

Would of been cool if Mick gave Mick Taylor an introduction on his first appearance for The Stones at Hyde Park

In Quebec City 2015, Mick introduced (in French) Ronnie as:: ''à la guitare, le roi de la poutine, Ronnie Wood''.

Which means: ''On guitar, king of the poutine, Ronnie Wood''

The ''poutine'' is a meal made of French fries + melted cheese + gravy that originates from the province of Quebec.

Charlie used to come up front, speak a little and introduce Little Red Rooster on the 1965-tour. Well-documented on Live In England '65. Good stuff! thumbs up

The intros on side 3 of LYL are the gold standard as far as I'm concerned. I like " Billy's very open for offers. I wouldn't say 'up for grabs' but open for offers."

The next vault release should just be a best of compilation of Mick's band intros, between song banter and asides.

Thanks for the correct info. I did never actually hear what he said when I listened to it. I have always thought he said something like "Bill is open for uppers". Like he was high or something...

In 2006,Keith was introduced at the German shows in Munich and Berlin as the "Weltmeister im Baumklettern" (World-Champion in tree-climbing) because these shows were right after the world-championship in Germany and one of the first after Keiths accident.
