I love the venue, git there and away (by car) real smoothly.

The Stones were fantastic, as usual. Thwy dwliver.
Mick clearly had throat troubles. He was coughing and spitting, and he skipped parts, especially with BS, and GS was shortened.
Bernard got a low five from Mick at the end for filling in.
This was the first time I thought perhaps we wouldn't get the encore, but then again: they do deliver!

I was in Pit A.

Only one thing to say: the change of rhythm in Rambler as the song builds up for the "finale" ... was THE best I think I have ever heard. Just flawless !!

It was s great gig. Good crowd. But very very hot.went into que at 13.30 o clock. Thought i would die around 1900 ovlock.luckily they handed out water. Great versions of umt n you cant n mr n pib.
Band gave it all.

By the sounds of it from reading this thread I wouldn't be surprised if Keith did 3 songs in Warsaw.

At least Mick showed up...by Rambler you could really tell he was in trouble.

Glad they have a few days off before Warsaw.

Getting in and out with the metro was a bit tricky, the Lucky Dip desk was a mess for a lot of people.

The open air I thought was ok, I mean it is what it is, but if you were in the pit, it was cool...they had water at the gate, toilets close etc.

Glad I did not taste the pot that was offered at the back of the pit. Two guys next to me that did both passed out!

Reminiscent of Desert Trip-2 where the heat and the dust really did a number on his throat.
So much so that they had to cancel Vegas 1 some 5 nights later.. (oddly, some still add the asterisk of *if he was sick to that show )..

Hope he gets what he needs and is able to come back strong for the finale..

The last 45 min of the show is already on youtube. Mick's voice does sound a bit tired on Satisfaction, but not so different from how it usually sounds IMO.

Oh he had to hold back a lot and his mic volume may have also been turned down. On Gimme Shelter he wasn't singing some of his parts at all,!

Reminiscent of *Vegas 16 and one of the earlier shows this tour when some were predicting postponement/canellation of the following show - hopefully Mick fully recovers for the grand finale in Warsaw.

While these mini-tours might seem short at only 14 shows or so, at an average age of 75 years old, can't really expect much more than that at this point.
Hope they return to the US, and also hoping they don't schedule more shows than they're capable of. At the level they play with the sensory overload, etc., it takes alot of stamina which evidently can take it's toll.
Keep on rolling.......................

Actually the asterisk for *Vegas has nothing to do with the first cancelled show, and signifies that Mick was very sick for the second show (not "if he was sick") which resulted in an incomplete/subpar show because it.
Setlist abbreviated to 18 songs, Keith playing a three song set to give Mick a break, and the backup singers carrying much of the load - it was obvious Mick wasn't 100%.
Oddly though, he was able to perform at a private show for a billionaire a day or two later, so maybe he was holding back in *Vegas to save himself for the private show.
Whatever the case, he quickly recovered and no doubt he'll do what he can for the final show in Warsaw - whether his voice is shot or not. These guys are tough old men!
Most, if not all, would agree that all the shows from No Filter I &II have been superior to that *Vegas '16 show (with some shows obviously better than others) - and you don't have to be at any of them to realize that.
Read the reviews here on IORR, watch the videos, and listen to the boots - the proof is in the pudding (though there will always be some who can't find a fault in anything the Stones do - even if Mick is sick and not 100%).
