Technical Problem On A Bigger Bang

Has anybody else noticed that Neo-Con actually starts a split second (maybe a half a second) before the track starts?

Not on my UK and German copies.

Not on mine either. Off topic: They should have left this song off, I could care less about "the message", the song is just crappy IMO. Sounds too forced and too Jagger solo. Weakens a very strong album. IMO

Its giving me the shits

What happened to the original lyrics? I thought there was a reference to Condy Rice by name and other lines that are not on the album...was it redone after the press release party????? Or was this just idle rumor???? Sorry if this has already been answered.

I'm thrilled that NEOCON was included on this cd! It's time they took a stand on something that matters to them, although it was Mick's idea and Keith just went along for the ride. These are the STREET FIGHTIN MEN of the 60's remember! Bush and his thugs deserve to be slamed and what better band to do it! AMEN! THEY'RE ALL A CROCK OF SHIT!

Mine is working perfectly fine .Like the song for the music but also for the lyrics. It's pretty unusual for Jagger to be so direct.I guess he must be very upset over this absurd war .So am I!

I noticed this because,I made a copy of it to bring with me to work (from the U.S. version) & I changed the order of the tracks.I made Laugh,I Nearly Died the last track. It seemed like a good closer. After that track ends,I can hear the beginning of Neo-Con for a split second. This did not happen on any other track.I just thought that I would make mention of it here.

I wouldn't say that Milo. If you like Dance Pt.1 you might as well like this one too. Remember that they said that ABB would hold a song that sounded a bit like Dance??? Well this one's t. I like it. Great groove. Music-wise (And this is the only thing about it you'll get me to comment on) it's very strong IMO. I actually like the Sweet NeoCon riff as much as the Dance Pt. 1 riff.

I think you should show some respect and please do not start another Neo Con political discussion, because then I would have to close or delete this thread.

It is a song on an album. So leave it with that. If you don't like it then don't play it. Others may like it. I don't like every person in the world but I don't want them removed.

And I will not allow any discussions about the lyrics on Sweet Neo Con here, simply because people have different opinions about it, and every time this discussion is starting, people do not show respect, they start a war.

Respect means understanding there are two or more ways of thinking, and accepting that.

The Stones do smoothe fades between tracks pretty often. Go listen to Might As Well Get Juiced and Saint of Me. there is absolutely no break between the two tracks.
