Bill Sullivan has written about his time on the road with the Replacements, and it is very entertaining. My review here [onlyrockandroll.london]

Yes, if they have a good story to tell.

Sure... Everyone can keep a diary. The question is really, "Should Roadies PUBLISH their stories"? To that I say yes, if there are stories worth telling.

Although not a roadie, one of my favorite "behind the scenes storytellers" was Gil Markle. His Diary of A Studio Owner blogsite is a treasure not just for Stones fans but music fans in general. Sadly, Gil passed away a few years back. I'm hoping that someday, one of his friends or family will upload various "non-published" essays to his site.

Note: for those new to IORR, the "Tattoo Me" section of his site includes his stories of the Stones 1981 Tour rehearsals at Longview Farm in western Massachusetts. Gil was the owner of that studio at the time.

Peace,
Mr DJA
