Sometimes it drives me nuts
Why would it drive you nuts?
If Bob wanted people to know it was called Subterranean Homesick Blues he could have at least said those words one time in the song... other wise... what does he, or anyone, expect?
So you take everything literally? As far as Dylan. What the heck are you talking about. Have another drink.
gimme a break

Firstly, I hope you don't mind Morehotrocks that I take the thread slightly sideways....... But this is about a song, and it's driving me nuts, but I can't remember the title, right or wrong!
There's a song, it opens with a women speaking the words 'shut up and drive' then the song launches into ........erm, I just can't remember! The annoying thing is, I have this track, that's how come I know (knew) it, I just can't find it now.
Lyrics sites just take me to a song called 'shut up and drive' by Rihanna which it certainly ain't.
It's been driving me nuts for a while now, don't think anyone believes this song exists, and I sure don't have much to convince them. But I would like to.
As I said, a bit sideways off your question, but having a song (or not) driving you nuts is just ........
Anyone??

You're right! My first instinct was no, nothing so simple, I've barely heard of this lady (country is not so big in England), checked my i-tunes and I don't have it. But punched her name into Google, quickly found her on YouTube singing the very song that's been driving me nuts and no-one I know knows!
So I'm pretty sure then I must have heard it on the radio, and it just got stuck in my head.
Mystified as to why I couldn't find it myself when googling, the Rihanna song shares the same title but is a different song. I'm guessing it's something to do with my settings, but thanks a lot, was beginning to think I would never find the answer.
Sure, it's stuck in my head again, but not driving me nuts now.
Thanks for taking the time to post, which to a lot of people must seem like a pretty simple answer..........

A black dog walked through the recording studio while they were doing the song .... reportedly.

I always thought the title of the song was "Smells Like Teen Spirit". As in, the deodorant.
