Interestingly VP did NOT have the strict anti-scalper info on their site so that was probably some kind of boiler plate GDP added.

i just found the VP site now -- ronnie's side pit still available for 825E
i never got anything from GDP even though i registered for presale

I saw all categories listed as available on topbillet when I got my turn at about 7:15, but when selecting either PITA or PITB it simply told me not enough tickets were available at this time. It didn't show any categories as unavailble until about half hour later for me.

that was so easy to get tickets in 2006-2007... not so far

PELOR are back at GDP/Topbillet still the best option I think if you can get there reasonable early and aren't vertically challenged. Sure the area seems larger than for NF2017 or other publishes maps but imagine getting LD and being in GA or in the rafters ? Well I suppose one could pick up an LD and see if you get PIT on the day...but then you'd lose your spot in the GC line ? It's a hard life, hehe...

Just looked at my PELOR e-ticket from GDP and saw :
- ticket #36xx - does that mean 3600 people bought a PELOR ticket before me ?
- The ticket buyer **MAY** have to show an ID upon entering the event, so no more strict "anti-scalper" measures. They don't have the usual "whoever uses that e-ticket first gets in" though.

Pits were easy to score in Edinburgh were they ? Well I suppose that the €500 asking price "filtered" out a few more people than the €287 of Marseille...Train+Hotel+GC from Paris total €240 for me so I guess that financially it's not too bad. As die-hards we crave for the pit but for Paris II in 2017 my LD got me GA and actually it was not bad, not as "thrilling" as being close in the pit like I was for Paris I/III but you get a better overall view.

As a side note the Pit A/B €825 packages on VP sold pretty quickly, maybe 10 minutes. I didn't try to add one at 7:00 when I got in so I'm not sure they were actually available though.

The receipt indicates "carre or p" or sometimes "carre or pelouse or"
It seems that it is reallu golden circle, standing, no seats
there is another "carre or" category but it is seated

Strange on VP, the first lines were for packages, so it was confusing and pits prices were at €825, but it is a package.
The similar package "Catégorie F PELOUSE OR" was priced at €325, and if you scroll down the "CARRE OR P PELOUSE OR" was price at only €144,50
Probably many excited fans clicked on the first PELOR they saw ...

edimbourg facile. Paris 1 pit et Paris 2 pit avec lucky dip! Les stones c'est ou devant ou lucky dip!!

And don't trust the official map, the indicated size of each ground zone is not contractual. Seats are ok, of course, but promoter can move the internal grids even at the last moment ...
