So much better than the €800 that was rumoured.

Like in 2017 for Hamburg, Munich and Düsseldorf: [iorr.org] .

The NoFilter-Pit Ticket in 2017 in Germany plus the VIP-Merchandise was EUR 1,275 (StartMeUp-VIP-Package) - [iorr.org] .

£450 is more like €510.
I was planning 10 shows.
Back to the drawing board...

It's the same: approx. GBP 400 - the slight difference comes from the currency conversion - [www.Oanda.com] .

Refreshing to see that Eastern Europe appears to have higher wages than the south of France.

£450 is more like €510.

It was calculated with the native Ticket price of GBP 399.95 (EUR 454) without the GBP 52.00 Fees.

The NoFilter-Pit in Paris 2017 was only EUR 221.50 [iorr.org] while the NoFilter-Pit in Germany 2017 was EUR 799 .... eye rolling smiley

Well done Jackie and Gerard for keeping the pit the cheapest in France once again, still a pretty big hike from the UArena though...

I think they'll simply throw in a lot more Lucky-Dip-Tickets if the very expensive (overpriced ?) Pit-Tickets don't sell ....

i'd hate to retire before the stones do, but given these prices, the thought will cross my mind or perhaps just sit this leg out.

in the US arenas, i always got around the prices by buying "side stage" which was basically on the stage and in my opinion, the best seats in the house and usually less than $200. however, this tactic doesn't work with stadiums.

During the 2013 US leg, the prices dropped for Boston over time....I was able to "return" my ticket and re-buy it at the lower price through Ticketmaster.

Still funny (or not) - [iorr.org] :

Looks like the Merchandise of the StartMeUp-VIP1-Package is the same as the TumblingDice-VIP6-Package, at least in Hamburg - [iorr.org] .

While VIP1 was in Hamburg € 1275, VIP6 was € 250. VIP1 was NoFilter-Pit (Ticket: € 799) and VIP6 was GA-Standing (Ticket: € 105).

Therefore the additional price for the same Merchandise was € 476 in VIP1 while it was € 145 in VIP6 ....

... and the VIP-Merchandise was then available for € 60 on eBay - [iorr.org] .

Ever since I saw The Stones at Earls Court in the 1970s they have always been masters of hyping up the punters to scramble for tickets.
All the main UK newspapers had articles on the tour announcement.
Seems there are always enough Stones fans to cough up.
My friend works at The 02 and got me into the gig and hospitality
when they played there. The hospitality was in the big room next to Indigo.
Around 500 Stones fans had paid £1000 each for best seat along with
food & drinks before and after the show along with a merch bag................£1000 EACH....madness.

at least they had a dinner. In Germany last year you had to pay 1200€ and you got a pit ticket and the bag - no dinner. Not even drinks grinning smiley And believe me, I talked to people who actually payed that prices. But when they found out that I payed 65€ for the same ticket (lucky dip, unfortunately without the bag) the man was very rude to me...

so basically - 2 LD tickets + airline ticket + hotel for a night + drinks = still a lot cheaper than 1 pit ticket.

I consider doing a "reverse Robin Hood campaign" in my coaching business. And offer a number of cheap sessions that cover my ticket spend on pit tickets, to people who wouldn't normally be able to afford my coaching. And then those money goes directly from the poor to the very rich! lol

Feel free to copy this idea if it can be applied ;-)

So glad that I saw The Stones many times in their prime from 1967 on.
Last year a longtime friend of mine wanted to present me with a ticket.
I declined spot on. Why the hell should I watch these Las Vegas Shows?
Well, each his own.

Why the hell should I watch these Shows?

Because the 2 hours at a live Stones concert makes me feel better than most anything else does on this god forsaken planet does these days

Why no PIT tickets on sale for the presale today?
