I saw MT play with Mayall in Chicago during Bluesfest. He was on his game and brought a lot of positive energy to the show when he teamed up with Buddy Whittington(sp?sorry). This was the best I had seen him play in many years, and he appeared to be having fun during the 4-5? numbers he joined in with the Bluesbreakers. I have seen some lackluster performances from MT, but this night he was simply great. Go and see him, but keep in mind that he often gets into a fusion type sound that can be boring to Stones and blues fans.
What crap in the ad: "Member of Rolling Stones between 1969-75", link above... Wonder what he did in 75?
But maybe we up here have reason for hangin around in Västerås [Vesterooos] during the autumn... /link above)

- Except Taylor; Oct 28 Bygdén is a cool country-blues dude, good friend of mine. Nov 19 M.A. Numminen insane Finnish veteran from the 60´s & 7´s. Reeeeaaal underground. Dec 10. Zetterberg is said to be good; I´ve never been knocked-out, but...
Mick Taylor is confirmed for Village, Västerås Dec 16 th. But also Karlstad in the west of Sweden on the 10th or 11th even then with Ventus Blues Band. Probably there will be more bookings, most likely in Stockholm as well. I just hope it will be before Västerås, since I am leaving the country on the 18th. That´s great news, Ventus is a good backup. The same constellation plaid last December and it was really great.
Baboon - Taylor helped the stones reach a higher playing field and he deserves and should be recognized with any STONES MENTION with any PROM BILL for any future GIG.BEFORE TAYLOR JOINED IT WAS A MARKETING PLOY WITHIN THE STONES CAMP TO SAY THE GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND BUT WITH TAYLOR IN THE LINEUP THAT WAS NO LIE. turn up the volume on winter or any other taylor masterpiece or composition and you will hear WHAT THE STONES HAVE BEEN MISSING SINCE HE LEFT

Mick Taylor is a washed up has been who was lucky enough to join the Stones in the middle of their golden era, Beggars Banquet did not have Taylor at all and all but two tracks(the weakest 2 in my opinion) of Let it Bleed did not have Taylor, If this "god" was so @#$%& great why did he just fizzle after he left them and now is playing clubs to eek out a living. Look the guy was a great guitarist but the Stones made him not the other way around.

Please Dont get into that Taylor discussion AGAIN.... We all know that some of you wants him back but do you have to remind us again and again every time MT is brought up.... please
Wentus Blues Band is one of the hardest working Blues Bands in North Europe today. They are just the perfect back up band for Taylor. They have done many tours by now together so it is a tight set they do. Just go and se them and forget all "why isn't he rejoining Stones" moaning. It wount happen...ever...just drop it...
The Stones made Taylor, not the other way around. If he hadn't been in the Stones he wouldn't be getting any gigs these days, not under his own name, anyway (can see him backing up Mayall or somebody else). He is a great guitarist, but the Stones would have carried on just fine with someone else in his spot. Hell, they might have gotten Clapton or Jeff Beck and sounded even better than they did with Taylor. They were the Stones before Taylor joined and still are 31 years after he quit.
It is cool that the Stones, Taylor and Wyman are all touring at the same time. The Stones should give us all what we want and have Taylor and Wyman open a few shows each for them, and jam on one or two songs with the boys at those shows. It'll never happen, though, which is a shame.

I would have agreed with that statement before they did SWAY in Ohio. Presently I'm not sure in what direction the band will go in the future regarding members. When it comes to the Rolling Stones wonders never cease. I wish Mick Taylor would rejoin the band while they would still keep Ronnie as well. I mean Iron Maiden has got three guitarists and they sound great IMO.
Mick Taylor left the band. I don't think Keith really likes him for that, just as he does with Bill Wyman. I mean, Keith looks at Bill as a traitor. He probably feels the same about Mick.
