It's been discussed here before, but definitely deserves more attention.
Yeah, that instrumental definitely feels like Wild Horses, Next Goodbye, Winter, Plundered My Soul and Watching the River Flow.

I haven't seen much discussion about these for several years.
Nicky Hopkins Tapes
Fantastic listening if you haven't checked them out before.
Great extra (or louder mixed?) guitar in places - RTJ being a great example.
Does anyone know how these came into the public domain?

"super quality"? I think this is one of the worst sounding studio soundboards available. But great to have.

Yes, well I apologize, as not meant to mis-lead fans; I'm not an audiophine and don't didn't mean really to leave a relative audio critique of a boot,,,
and as mentioned, haven't even yet listened in phones; just a functional,
but pretty low-end, all things considered, functional blue-tooth type speakers.
but for me, the 'mix' itself; well, it was very exciting; i could hear Everything, every player; and such was the heat and intensity of the performance, and to my ears, the crunch and crispness and passion....
well, it might not be a 'production' mix.,..
and really; i will try to listen to more accurate speakers or in pretty reasonable phones soon...
but for me, it really slammed, those alternate track slides were thrilling and upfront very present; yet i could hear everybody else.
sometimes it seems the horns in harmony were the lead instruments, kinda,
tho everything else seems to be played with such intesity;
so i sort of meant it in the sense of impact and it had on me,
and really; i thought the way those rhythm guitars and everything...
well what is this anyway?
do you know it's history. i mean it seems like a pretty close-to-the-bone
'mix' tape, to even emerge like this, I don't know mixed it or how it became
available, or when...
but it sounds friggin majorly great and took my head right off and it is super great and packs a huge wallop, doncha think?
