German MUSIK-EXPRESS is rating ABB as average

Hi folks,
I just recovered that the current issue of the german MUSIK-EXPRESS
rated the ABB with 3 stars.
First I thought that there was no review of ABB at all....
cause it was realy hidden between the mass of small reviews,
just kind of: And now some other reviews from other new albums .
So, that was their first mistake....not giving the Stones enough respect by putting the review under"ferner liefen" .
They say that the Stones played like they did at the beginning of the 70`s..
that there is nothing new..and that ABB is kind of repeating themselfes.
What is so funny about that:
If the Stones do something different...by changing the sound or doing something like Babylon...they say:
Oh come on..it does not suit you boys...You are the Stones and you have to play like the Stones.
If they do so..like on ABB done.....they say:
Oh no, not you again..it is the same ysound like you did in 40 years.
You don`t have the balls to risk something new.
What the @#$%&....
If they go left.....it is wrong.
If they go right....it is wrong
Just give a piss on all that rubbish....and do what you want to do, boys.
I was lucky with Babylon....because it was kind of different.
(Songs like ASMB,MAWGJ,GF,OOC, kicked me on....as I do love
ABB...because of its typical Stonish sound.
By the way...I do not have a real favorite song on ABB..cause today I love LIND...and tomorrow I prefer RFD..and yesterday BOMH was my favorite...
That makes a good album to me.

Musik-Express always sucked the last ten years. They once had good writers (like the german Rolling Stone has with Doebeling), but now they only have boys who think that bands like the Strokes or Franz Ferdinand invented guitar music.

That comment about ONNYA is absolute bullshit. They're always being told they DON'T sound like 40 years ago.

How strange that ME would say they sound like they did in the early 70's: the peirod when they just happened to make the best rock albums in the world.

Yeah, the ME is a poor magazine - the musical knowledge of the writers is under the niveau of school magazines where 12-year old pupils review albums.
