You mean, YOU really would KILL somebody for not standing up at SMU???
That´s something! I did not know how strong and brave you are, Gazza.

BTW, how about your s+x life and your professional career? Is there anything around you that tells you that violence is funny?

Do the girls still scream, when you perform on stage? KR: Not on stage, but when I perform, yeah.

I personally don't see the problem in sitting down at a concert. I don't have a problem with those that stand either. During the Licks tour, me and a friend went to the concert and sat mainly due to the fact that we had nose bleed seats. But we were still rockin' in our seats and having a good time! It was a great show. Plus they also had the video screens so I didn't mind sitting at all. My view was made even easier due to those. If I wanted to stand then I would've bought floor sits but I chose a less expensive option. Point being, I got to see my favourite rock band perform and went home happy knowing that I got my money's worth! Amen!smiling smiley

Gazza said: "Anyone who sits at a Rolling Stones concert for any reason other than physical infirmity should be blindfolded, frogmarched to the b-stage and publicly shot through the back of the head for their bad taste?"

LMFAO!!

If Mick Jagger at 62 can run around the whole stage for two hours, I don't think it would kill anyone in the crowd to stand for two hours. Either that, or sit down and be prepared for an obstructed view when others stand. Maybe they should have standing sections and sitting sections. Jesus, how pathetic.

Man pafult, you stood you ground though. Hats off, you're my new hero. That is so @#$%& up that it's turned into this kind of crap at ROCK shows. I mena we're talking about ROCK here right? It is a sad fact though that in the USA (alt least) the average age is up there now. It has turned into this family outing type scene with styrofoam collers with packed lunches, way too mnay frisbees, and WAY too many overeager ushers who will pounce at the drop of a hat. The only way to beat them is to get the whole sectyion going together and outnumber them. Last USshow it took untuil the Bstage to get everyone riled up enough to push and dance. I had my best friend from Austria over (not the idiot who tried to shoot Gzza down LOL) and he was koncking back the brews and smoking and dancing. All these annoying housewives tried to get him to quit everything. No smoke, no dance, no drink. What the Hell are you doujng at a Stonesshow??? They didn;t even enjoy the tunes. Looking at their watches.. Later on I saw one of the best Stonesshows of the year in Barcelona. Now that was a Stonescrowd!

Hi,

I had a similar expeience on 26 Mar 1999, Chicago United Center....couple shitball yuppy guys told me to sit down. You could tell that those sons of bitches weren't Stones fans....just a couple of s%$t-F8cks....

Next time some a-hole tells you to sit down at a Stones show, tell them, to "go f themselves" with a rough-sawn 4x4, with bent, rusty nails sticking out of it!
