I don't get it. If you want to be at Keith side, why not walk around (through golden circle area), wait until they let people enter and walk in the Pit area on the other side? They can't lock you up on Ronnies side, can they? Or is it a one way entry to Keith side, only accessible by walking under the catwalk???
Those security people were incapable of any sort of crowd control and were getting physical. I nearly got crushed in the inevitable crowd surge in Barcelona and the situation wasn't much better in Amsterdam either.
To answer jackflash27's question, since Barcelona, the entrance to the entire pit has been through Ronnie's side only. Before that show, you could enter the pit from either side (although in Lucca they didn't open Keith's side till around 7 or 7.30 p.m.). To get to Keith's side now, they make people walk through Ronnie's side and under the catwalk and don't allow anyone to stay on Ronnie's side.

Thanks Beast. So this is also the case during the show? So when you are at Keith side, and want to go to the toilet, you have to walk through Ronnie's area and are you still able to get back to Keith side? Or do they open up on the side during the show. I'm curious, so I can prepare for the Arnhem show

jackflash72 - I don't know but I imagine that people on Keith's side must be able to get out from his side once the show has started and the catwalk access is closed. I would certainly hope so, anyway! Maybe someone who's been on Keith's side since they introduced this system can answer.
