You can't judge a book by the titles of the chapters -

I don't know what you're doing right now but I'd much rather be bored in MSG.

Hell stay in the bathroom.

Your theme song must be Number 8.

Rialb you seem to be a person who can play 40 licks all year around? Try to vary your Stones music perspectives.

The shuffling of the songs is interesting and suggests that they are not yet on autopilot, but dropping "Out of Control" actually makes this list more "oldies" than in the past...

the "Can't Always Get..."/"Brown Sugar" encore is what they used in the Garden (and at most shows) in '98. After tweaking the formula with "IORR," it's a shame to revert to an even more predictable format.

And as fun as they are, "Bitch" and "All Down The Line" aren't really all that novel at this point. Between them, they've been played on every tour since '89. If you're going to break out of "greatest hits" mode, then why not truly break out?

And where was all the strong material from the new album?

I'm sure they were high energy, but it's time to make a statement...

I just got home. This was the best show I've seen this tour by far (Fenway #1, Hartford & Chicago). Tremendous version of 19th Nervous Breakdown was one of many highlights. The crowd was hot and the band smokin'!!!!!!

Can't believe all the negatives from people who weren't there...

Satisfaction, PIB, and Breakdown in the same set. Should make the "more pre-68 stuff" folks happy.

PAINT IT BLACK was GREAT.After having seen more than 20 shows, this was one of the best songs I can ever remember. On the glass on the side of Charlie's drums, the list of songs included Shattered & Factory Girl, maybe at Giant Stadium.

As the crew is getting the stage ready for the stones (after the opening band finishes), one of the steps for every show is that a girl comes on and updates the plexiglass list next to Charlie's drums. She writes down the current night's set list. I have seen cases where there were more than one list side by side, but I have never heard of them pre-writing a list for a future concert. The fact that someone saw Factory Girl written onthe plexiglass is strange.

Did you actually attend the concert in person in order to report that the show was mostly "crap" ?

Or is this just your assessment of the setlist ?

Also, I certainly believe to each their own but you're the first Stones fan I've ever heard of that thinks songs like the following are "crap": Satisfaction, Tumbling Dice, Honky Tonk Women, Jumpin' Jack Flash, You Can't Always Get What You Want, Bitch, Sympathy for the Devil, Brown Sugar, It's Only Rock and Roll, Paint it Black...

Are you sure you're a Stones fan ?

According to the posts on Shidoobee, Shattered was supposed to be performed on the B stage according to the written set list on Charlie's board, but Keith mistakenly started Satisfaction instead. They had to restart Satisfaction when the band had trouble picking it up. The post said Satisfaction was listed as "one of the last songs", but it is not made clear if they substituted something else for Satisfaction or if they just skipped it and played one less song than planned.
