I don't know if he was badly looking for drugs at that time
Didn't he already undergo treatment for drug addiction the previous year ?

on this boot, the sound is quite good and stereo..
cd1 is on rockpassion..the rest will follow.

Yeah, thank you JP. I´ll be around at Rockpassion.
...He may have been clean before, Keef; but I think he got
a flashback and turned to smack again. If I´m not totally off here,
he got carried inside and spent the first days and night with
the shakes. Guess he had a relatively quick recovery.

These sessions are a must have for fans and collectors. I love the long version of Tell Me. The Stones should bring this one back for the current tour and jam it out. The Eddie Cochran stuff is also fantastic.

I have this ready to email if anyone wants it and doesn't have access to Rockpassion. I know that Stonefan is overloaded.

this is a must have disc. It could be Ronnie's finest moment. The playing on LSTNT is wonderful. Happy is a blast as is Prodigal Son. The 2 Gimmie Shelter's are wonderful. One is down and dirty and the other is fast with a lot of solo.

I think there's a speaker buzz in some of the
trax, and others meander. Remember, the boys
are rehearsing their parts, not putting on an
actual performance. Over the years I've edited
my set down to a disc or two which I find
mre listenable.

Also worth hearing from this period are the
Paris 78 sessions for the Some Girls album.
Some nice rough raw outtakes and unreleased
trax, but once again sound quality varies,
some of these sound third genration or so....

As far as I'm concerned Handsome Girls, the
KBFH radio soundboards remain the definitive
boot from this Stones era, and one of their
best, with the Woods line up anyway...........
