Did anyone else see that show on CBS last night? It was a 2-hour program, looking at the Stones in the '60's and '70's. There were some good interviews with Mick Taylor, Anita Pallinberg, and others but there was NO STONES MUSIC! In fact, there was a disclaimer each time the show went to a commercial which said "This program contains no Rolling Stones music". A really odd show.

I have the 5-disc DVD set of this, and altough the interviews are nice, no Stones music heard at all. In fact, I seem to remember that while showing live clips, there is other music overdubbed...

Yeah, they were broadcasting this show on MuchMoreMusic here in Canada awhile ago. I happened to tape some of the episodes. I think that it's one of those "unauthorized" types of shows. That's probably why they don't have any of the Stones' music in it. That's my guess.

Cirrhosis: Yes, plenty of Stonesinvolvement. I think the company behind the DVD:s have been collecting interviews from all kind of different sources.

It's a pretty interesting series with all the interviews of people who know or have worked with the Stones.

Have it, and recomend it..If for anything it is to hear all the point of views other known musicians and people around the Stones have on our guys and hear their stories about them.
Quite interesting, you should all get the collection.
