Witness - thanks for the mention of Buffy Sainte-Marie. She is a great songwriter and performer, well worth searching out.

Keem-O-Sabe by the Electric Indian, a late '60s instrumental with a vaguely Indian sound. I don't think any Native Americans were in the band (though Daryl Hall was).
