Could UK still get a secret club show before they head out?

I think this is the longest break without any shows since 2012, so the chances are good for a warm up gig. London would seem to make the most sense to rehearse, so yeah decent shot...

I think most probably rehearsals will start in London (in a secret place) about 10 days before the very first show in Hamburg and I don't expect any warm up gig.

Paris, I guess.

Last time in Europe they did a full concert rehearsal at the venue with what turned out to be the actual set list in Oslo. They helpfully left some windows open so that the gathering of several dozen fans outside could listen

Prior to that, they rehearsed somewhere in London followed by a few days in the Oslo area prior to the tour opener.

They'll rehearse all right. They've got a lot of rust to knock off for the opening night in Hamburg. First proper tour in 18 months! As a previous poster said, a warm up gig somewhere is a good bet.

Regardless of the setlist, I prefer a well-rehearsed Rolling Stones.
If 80-90% of the show is based on their greatest hits, I want them to play those songs well.

Stone will rehearse somewhere in France or Germany. To rev up ticket sales for their three Paris shows. If they rehearse in Germany it will be at a location close to Paris as one can get and still be Germany. Such as Stuttgart. Or perhaps rehearse in Luxembourg.

But a French location is most likely.

Rehearse in Stuttgart for a tour starting in Hamburg to get better ticket sales in Paris? (Is this necessary?) Why not in Saarbrücken? What a nonsense. I think the main rehearsals will be near or in London or Paris, stage rehearsals in Hamburg. Or everything in Hamburg.

Do they really need to rehearse the same setlist that has been in use for last bunch of tours?

I can see them doing the 14 songs in one take and saying "that's a wrap" pack it up.

90 days a year is the limit for non residents of UK nationality I believe.

They will do it all in Oslo again. Keith can work, Patti visit family. BV will throw a garden party for them. Not enough great hotels for them though, they have to split like the last time. Might be the downside. Then the Rehearsels gig at Rockefeller or John Dee.

Wherever they pick, it will be somewhere heavily soundproofed where they can't be heard at all and no-one knows what songs they've been rehearsing. As for 14 on Fire, I would expect a closed doors mini gig at the venue of show 1 in Hamburg so that they can test the new stage setup etc. I'd expect that to be on the Thursday as in the past, they've liked a full day of rest before a tour opener.

Which effects Mick AND Keith of course.
There may be some flexibility eg carrying forward 'unused allowances' but 90 days average it is.
I suspect Mick uses up his full allowance...but Keith's stays in the UK seem to get shorter each year.
