I have a very dumb question about these shows...what does it look like sitting on the side looking through those screens, are they barely noticeable?

Along with the main screen that's behind the band for the entire show, the hanging screens are for projections and special effects - you don't see through them. They only come down after intermission for about a half an hour. They run lengthwise from stage to near back of arena down the center and are apprx. 10-15 feet above the crowd. There are about six of them side by side with a very small gap between them, and there are two sets of these - one set for viewing from the right side of arena and one set for viewing from the left side of arena. There is a ten foot gap between, so if you are anywhere dead center you would be looking in between them - like being in a tunnel if on the floor, or looking through a tunnel if you're in the back. Again, they only come down after intermission for about a half an hour - after Dogs and Pigs, the six separate portions fluctuate up and down, and for Us and Them they grow to twice the height. Immediately following intermission, amidst flashing red lights and sirens there's a huge mechanical contraption that is lowered from the rafters of arena where the screening system is held.
Hard to put in to words and all the above is hard to picture, so here's some photos I took all from same location lower loge right side about 1/3 back from stage:

If this very same album was released by an unknown artist named Perfisal Watts nobody have ever care of it, and the critics should be very very bad…………………….
Much of his success nowadays is supported by playing the old stuff from Pink Floyd, by the spectacular and expensive live performances
You were definitely right about the seat positioning. I was just slightly off to the right of dead-center, so I was able to barely look down the perpendicular screen but couldn't see the full details that were being projected on it. It was an amazing effect though...the smokestacks and pigs up at the top looked so real and tactile.Quote

Nice pics punkfloyd! Even from the uppers with a side angle there's a nice perspective. I can see there's actually eight screens vs. six that I mentioned earlier.
Also, in the last two pics with the chimneys, the gap I was referring is clearly visible. There's people sitting in that dead center blind zone looking at the stage through a dark "tunnel" - some of those dead center floor in the first 10 rows or so actually paid VIP prices, and I know of some who weren't too pleased about it.
Damn, I considered last night most likely the last time I'd ever see Waters, but if he returns to stadiums next year, I'd almost certainly revisit it even if the setlist is identical.Quote

Awesome keefriff99 - I knew you would enjoy the show for a variety of reasons!
Tentative rumours he'll be coming back to the US after the recently announced European shows. But this time - like he did with his Wall tour - it will be in giant stadiums with the single giant screen backdrop ala Desert Trip/Mexico City 2016 shows...not a bad seat in the house. Normally I would prefer arenas and smaller, but for a show like this the bigger the better! Hope it happens!!!!

Once said that, this album sounds to me lame and boring.

By the way, his new songs were quite wonderful too.

Yeah I was slightly disappointed in myself that I missed these shows even though I still think I made the right decision after having seen him twice before. This would have been nice to fill in some album gaps, and obviously would have looked stunning. But figured there's a good shot he'll come back like he did with The Wall. If he doesn't, that sucks but I'll easily live. If he does, I'll certainly be there. The performance of Pigs is so note perfect.

I believe he's inserted Mother in to the setlist at several of the more recent shows, but not sure if all of them?
Hope he comes back to the North America eventually, having seen four of the arena shows in June has proven not to be enough!
Wow, didn't realize that was the first night he played it. It's such a good song...glad I got to hear it live again.Quote

You appear to be correct - looks like Mother was just added starting with Hartford the other night.

I don't really like to see my musicians get political. A comment or two is fine, but going overboard, even if its someone I don't agree with, seems like its taking away from the show. In the end I'm there for the music. But after the way Trump's been behaving the last week (which isn't a new low but somehow feels a bit "good lord dude") I could kinda use a dose of Waters' Trump heavy bashing cause you know its gonna be done really well and vicious. And all being done with brilliant visuals to classic Floyd music... that idea sounds really really fun.
