They're going to play the whole of Sticky Fingers to promote the release today of the From The Vaults Sticky Fingers DVD/BluRay release.

I just hope this doesn't mean they'll cut one song from the set tomorrow.

It's probably because of the ''incident'' during the last show. Keith obviously felt the song vote is such a joke anyway so he decided to skip the winner announcement.

Always amazing how people know what is going on in the heads of the Stones...eye rolling smiley

That said, they should know by now that I always vote for All down the line. So carry on.

How are the odds that Dancing with Mr D will return in the setlist?
Would love it, if it did.

Please please please Let It Bleed. But I’ve not got a song vote right yet. Shine A Light would make me happy too but... [sigh] just once? Please and thank you!

Any chance of club show Amsterdam tonight?
Posted by: jackflash27 ()

There are some rumours about a possible club show, created by news station AT5. See link: [www.at5.nl]

The facts:

1) The Stones are in Amsterdam and stay at the Amstel hotel
2) Stadium concert is tomorrow (saturday)
3) Friday evening there is a release party planned for sticky fingers Fonda, in the Q-Factory
4) Q-factory does not answer questions about the Stones being there. 'All we know is that the label of the Stones hired the place for the release party'
5) Some posters (tongue / Q-factory) hang around the city

So what do we think? Any chance of a club show tonight? Would be great. I happen to have tickets for the release party, but it's too far for me just to go for the movie. If the Stones would perform, well.... I'd be in my car right now!

Any speculations, new facts, ideas?

It's the release of Sticky Fingers Live at Fonda Theater with a special screening in Amsterdam. There will be a great event on the very same night as well: [iorr.org] cool smiley

They don't play two nights in a row. Two to three days off between shows, since a couple of years.

That makes sense. Only odd thing is that the people from Q-factory are a little mysterious about it. The answer I got on my mail was: 'we can't comment on that officially'. confused smiley

Of course they can't answer any questions about The Stones being there or not. If they would come to the Q-Factory, they won't tell us due security and press reasons. I'll be there tonight and I do hope we'll see them over there but I think you make a bigger chance to win the lottery ;-)

I was there last night and saw Chris Jagger perform. Was very very nice. A lot of fun on stage, and good music, too.
Of course we hoped for Mick to join, as they just arrived in Amsterdam 2 hours earlier, but like bart-man says : you better put your money on the lottery ! smiling smiley
