Floor Ticket Prices : question
Posted by: somesmerized ()

Hi,

Can anybody explain me how ticket prices are set. I paid $375 CAD for section A7, row 14 in Ottawa, and my Toronto A4, row 4 have a face value of only $115 CAD. Since I scored them on e-bay I paid of course much more for them, but I would like to understand how the pricing works. Can anybody help ?

Many thanks.

mm..the key to it is that there IS no logic and they dont publicly publish seating charts which show a breakdown of each price range, and what percentage of seats are available in each price range (in the latter case it seems to vary from venue to venue)

so you can actually get a front row seat for $99 and a seat off to the side with an obstructed view for $450.

check the stones chicago united center seating chart on ticketmaster , it's color coded to show the different price levels in different sections ..

unfortunatly they don't do this on all seating charts
