Interpretations of ABB title and artwork

Could the white light represent the "Big Bang" of 1950s rock and roll, with the Stones, in a ring around the original big bang, representing the second, "Bigger Bang" of the 1960s British Invasion?

Could the white light represent the Big Bang of the Beatles, with the Stones being the second, bigger bang? You have to know a little something about the Big Bang theory of the universe to be able to discuss this.

It's actually not that deep!

A 'Bang', in English slang, is another word for f***ing.

So it's simple 'dolble-entendre'. Oh, what a surprise, Stones using sexual slang!

cf 'The Banging Man' by Slade.

A Bigger Bang refers to what happens when you light your own farts. Hence the white light.

It's actually not that simple!

Give the boys some credit. Whaddaya think? They sat around for five minutes tossing out titles that had two "B"s in them and settled on the first one that had both a musical and sexual meaning? They said themselves that it had to do with their fascination with the big bang theory of the universe.

Their (stadium) concerts open with a big on-screen explosion. Then, they hit the first notes of SMU. Clearly, the Stones themselves are the bigger bang that immediately follows the previous original big bang. The question is, what is represented by the original big bang?

Some ominous stuff here. Anyone notice the Hand Of Fate on Ronnie's shoulder? Yes, I know it's Ronnie's own hand, but coming out of the darkness like that, it looks like he is about to be called away. Also the clock and the candle near Charlie. Symbols of time. Or lack thereof.

You can't tell me they didn't put any thought into this. It's their first album in eight years. It could well be their last studio album. They thought about it.

Equivoque and dual meaning, some slightly kinky or at least dirty
undermeaning. Plus the right Anfangs, (A)BB.
What more can you ask for?

Tatters,

The Stones have a profound interest in astrophysics? Ofcourse they do! That's what has been their supreme pre-occupation in their forty-year canon of work.

Or sex. Your choice.

I'm pretty sure that Mick has matured to the point that there are a few subjects occupying his 62-year-old mind other than his girlfriends.

The phrase "a bigger bang for the buck" was originated
by U.S. Defense Secretary Charles Wilson in 1954,
when he was advocating spending more money on nuclear
weapons. Therefore "A Bigger Bang" is intended, at
least in part, as an answer to U2's "How to Dismantle
An Atomic Bomb", much like "Let It Bleed" was in part
an answer to the Beatles' "Let It Be"

Ronnie's Hand?.. That's Keiths hand! Or worse: Brian's!

Keith's right hand is right next to his face. His arm's not that long anyway!

OK, I have read that "A 'Bang', in English slang, is another word for f***ing."
Perhaps for the video clip this could be "A gang bang"!!!!!!!!!
