Stones @ Rome - Colosseo?

Stones might be on the bill of the 2006 Teleconcerto in Rome.
Huge venue. 300,000 showed up for Macca and Simon and Garfunkel in the previous editions.

Let's see how Cohl workes Rome this time: only a miserable 6,000 tix sold @ the flaminio stadium in 1990!

Wow - 300,000, that would be a crowd.
I hope Cohl does the job.

I was at that stadio flaminio show! Pure luck--I was
in Italy for a month to visit my cousin. I couldn't
believe how close up we were for the price we paid.

The promoter was some guy named "David Zard". I don't
remember why he was so hated, but I remember people
shouting, "David Zard e un stronzo!!"

I heard somewhere that David Zard's now in bankrupt, due also to the cancelled concert of the Stones in Milan, in the Bridges To Babylon Tour; also in that occasion - I was outside the venue when I was told about the cancellation - I heard that very same comment on the guy. Plus, at the Milan gig of the Licks tour, I heard quite some people claim that that time the boys did make the show because David Zard wasn't involved.

So I touch wood and hope that He's not involved in this Colosseo business, as well!
