I see this song getting slagged at every corner, but I think it's great. Cool overall sound and semi-sexual (feel the fur, etc.) lyrics. There are several on VL that are not as good.

i think it's a bit boring. But boring songs can be good in the summer when you lying on the beach. winking smiley

Love it. To me this is classic Stones, great guitar by Keith, they use the horns the way they did in the early 70's and the lyrics are typical Stones with references to sex and danger.

Would rather hear this every night over You Got Me Rocking...

BNC is a great track. I especially like the very laidback, almost lazy way Jagger sings it. This could be a nice choice for theatre shows.

It's my fave kind of Stones song - mid-tempo bluesy. It's what they do best. Live version at the Orpheum was unbelievably tastey - and then no more on the tour. Stones are clueless at times, it seems.

I love the part about opening the hood to see if the oil smells good. Mmmmmm smells like Caviar.

Get it?

Love it!!!......Low geared car-sex blues that just plain purrs.

For a great cruise play back to back with Robert Johnson's - Terraplane Blues and Johnny Shine's - Fish Tail..

Agree. It sounded incredible. Reminded me of early 60's club Stones immediately.

Yes the shepards bush version is really great, so does Moon is Up for me at the same concert.

I like this tune. It's one of the best on VL. Very slinky and sexy.

I'd like to hear a good live version. I kind of have a love/hate thing with the studio version.

I ain't stupid, I'm just guitarded.

It's one of the very very few Rolling Stones songs I do not like. It feels and sounds to me like it was a filler on the album and so corny!!

Sparks will fly, however, I love!

I think I like every song on VL. Everytime I listen to it, i like it more. Just got really into New Faces.

Never liked this song at all. I hate the lyrics to be honest - far too predictable and in my opinion a "written by numbers song". Probably took Mick 5 mins to write.

When they played this at RFK in Washington in '94, the crowd cheered loudly when Mick sang, 'Smells like caviar.'

I'm wondering if, a few years from now, everyone's going to decide this is a Stone's classic. Some of their tunes seem to gain acceptance and appreciation with time.

Also, I wonder if many of us fans are so focused on Rolling Stones musical traditions that we don't actually hear the new records when we play them? I was guilty of that way back when CYHMK came out, believe it or not. I thought it was phony. But I came to appreciate it and, when they played it this last tour, it blew me away!
