Forgive me for the stupid question, but ...

This will be the first time I see the Stones in the US.

I have to pick up my tickets at the will call windows at MSG and Pepsi Arena. They seem to open only hours before the event, so what should I expect, long lines, do I need to be there early? Any experience, anyone?

If you are already in town, you can pick them up any day that the box office is open.

the queues arent that long, from personal experience (Hartford'99/Anaheim '02) and its well organised

In my experience, theyre only available on the day of the show and you're usually advised to call for them no earlier than a couple of hours before the concert

My experience was different - I picked mine up from MSG several weeks ago.

As I am from outside US I can only pick them up on the day of the concert. However chances are good that you may be able to get better seats, not for free, but perhaps not much more.

Rochkingfan, do you mean "get better seats" as in upgrade, exchange, or just additional (better) one ?

For the last tour the MSG people were difficult and made me come back the day of show

Look, i don´t live in the US neither, but I went to a couple of concerts recently and is never a problem with the will-call thing. Just go to the MSG with the credit card you used to purchase the ticket & a picture ID.
I´m going to the Philly show....and the others here in Argentina, so good luck in NYC!!!!!

Is it possible when you have to pick them up at will call because you live outside the US to let them send the tickets to a friend in the US?

If you bought the ticket through Ticketmaster, they won´t let you do that. The only option foe non-american/non-canadian customers is Will Call.
